Creating a Work Order
On the home screen, you will be presented with an option to create a work order by clicking on the blue plus mark on the lower right side of your screen. This option might not be available based on your company’s configurations and is an online-only feature.
You will be brought to a create work order screen. From here you will select the site by entering the site name or address. Some companies allow creating a work order in a certain proximity range, for certain trades or services, or you might not be able to create a work order altogether on certain sites. You can also click on the pin icon to show the nearby sites from your location. It will have the results sorted by proximity.
If the site contains any address, then you can click on the address, and it will open the navigation using apps installed on your device which you can use to get directions to it. If a phone number is present, you can click on it, allowing you to make a call right away. If you have only one trade or service, then it will be pre-populated, else you can click on the Select button to select the trade or service for which you want to create a work order. If you want, you can enter notes which can be mandatory or optional based on your company's requirements. Once done, click on the Create button and you will be taken to the WO detail screen of the created WO.
